Lawrence Newman attended St. Johns University School of Law and has been in private practice of law specializing in corporate representation, insurance and business litigation for over 40 years, and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbard.
Mr. Newman has successfully tried hundreds of cases and is skilled in negotiation and mediation.
Mr. Newman has been frequently called upon as a speaker and to address the insurance, business and risk management industries.
Mr. Newman is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator and a Qualified Arbitrator.
Mr. Newman has served in leadership roles in the community based charitable organizations and serves as a pro bono consultant in legal matters.
Mr. Newman in but one of his many engagements serves in the capacity of General Counsel to Melco Incorporated and GEM Defense, minority owned (8A) government contractors in the areas of real estate and real estate management and defense contracting.
Mr. Newman is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court Southern District of Florida, American Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators and has served on the Executive Consel of The Florida Bar Section of Alternate Dispute Resolution.
